Ingredients:
- 1 cup Bookbinder’s Cocktail Sauce or Hot & Spicy Cocktail Sauce
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 2 medium Onions, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1 cup Celery, chopped
- 1 cup Green Pepper, chopped
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 2 small cans Tomato Sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1-16oz can Kidney Beans
- 2 tbsp Chili Powder
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 cup Water (as necessary)
Directions:
- In skillet, sauté in vegetable oil until tender: onions, garlic, celery & green pepper.
- Add ground beef, brown & drain.
- Transfer beef & vegetables to a stock pot.
- Add remaining ingredients to stock pot: Bookbinder’s Cocktail Sauce, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, kidney beans, chili powder, salt & pepper.
- Simmer for ½ hour.
- Add 1 cup water as necessary to add more liquid.
