Ingredients:
-
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
-
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
-
2 tablespoons Bookbinder's Prepared Horseradish (adjust to taste)
-
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
-
½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
½ cup finely chopped green onions (optional)
-
½ cup finely shredded mozzarella or Parmesan (for coating)
-
For decorating:
-
Mini carrot (for the nose)
-
Whole peppercorns or black olives (for eyes and buttons)
-
Pretzel sticks (for arms)
-
Fresh herbs or scarf (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar, Bookbinder's Prepared Horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and green onions (if using). Season with salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Divide the mixture into three portions: one large, one medium, and one small. Roll each into a ball. Chill for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Roll each ball in the shredded mozzarella or Parmesan so it looks like snow. Stack the balls from largest to smallest to form a snowman.
- Use a mini carrot for the nose, peppercorns or olives for eyes and buttons, and pretzel sticks for arms. Add a herb scarf or a sprinkle of parsley “snow” for fun.
- Chill until ready to serve. Enjoy with crackers, pretzels, or veggie sticks!
