Ingredients:
- 1 cedar plank
- 2 - 1 lb skin-on salmon filet
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Bookbinder's Tartar Sauce
Directions:
- Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour to prevent burning.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat, 350–400°F.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Pat salmon fillets dry. Rub the mixture onto both sides of the fish.
- Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill for 2–3 minutes to heat it slightly. Flip it over and place the fish, skin-side-down, on the hot side.
- Close the lid and grill for 12–18 minutes, depending on thickness, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. No flipping needed!
- Serve directly on the plank (on a heat-safe surface), or carefully transfer to plates.
- Drizzle with Bookbinder's Tartar Sauce - enjoy!
- Pro Tip:
- Keep a spray bottle of water nearby in case the edges of the plank catch fire.
