Hot and Spicy Cocktail Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Bookbinder’s Hot & Spicy Cocktail Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 medium Onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup Celery, chopped
  • 1 cup Green Pepper, chopped
  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 2 small cans Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1-16oz can Kidney Beans
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Water (as necessary)

Directions:

  1. In skillet, sauté in vegetable oil until tender: onions, garlic, celery & green pepper.
  2. Add ground beef, brown & drain.
  3. Transfer beef & vegetables to a stock pot.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to stock pot: Bookbinder’s Hot & Spicy Cocktail Sauce, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, kidney beans, chili powder, salt & pepper.
  5. Simmer for ½ hour.
  6. Add 1 cup water as necessary to add more liquid.
